My predictions: 4/5, picking “Victoria and Abdul” over “Logan”
My ballot: Come back in February!
The nominees: Call Me By Your Name, The Disaster Artist, Logan, Molly’s Game, Mudbound

Well, no surprise snubs here, just the relatively forward-thinking inclusion of “Logan,” which marks the first film I’ve written about today that I have yet to see. It joins fellow one-nomination wonders “The Disaster Artist” and “Molly’s Game,” both of which saw their lead stars omitted. This also represents one of just four nominations earned by both “Call Me By Your Name,” the lone Best Picture nominee in this group, and “Mudbound.” This is a fair list, though obviously I still have one left to see.

My current bet to win: I think this is going to be Call Me By Your Name without much competition.
