GLOW Weekend - May 5/6, 2018
G.L.O.W. Weekend is back for a THIRD year and that your teenage daughters, nieces, sisters and friends are invited!
GLOW stands for Girls Leading our World.
It is a 24-hour sleep over event for middle and high school aged girls, hosted at the American Corner Trieste / Associazione Italo-Americana FVG in Piazza San'Antonio, 6 - Trieste.
This year's dates are Saturday May 5th - Sunday May 6th from 15:00-15:00.
Participants make a 30 Euro donation for the weekend to pay for food, a theater performance, GLOW t-shirts, gadgets and workshop materials.
All adult chaperones and guest speakers are volunteers.
Its main objective is promoting self-advocacy, friendship, leadership, life skills and community through meaningful lessons/activities for adolescent girls in a fun, safe and respectful environment.
This year we have a group of local, all-female guest speakers who will lead 45-90 minute interactive workshops and activities on a variety of topics.
