GLOW - Photography: Selfie vs. Self Portrait

On Friday November 9th from 17:30-19:00 at American Corner Trieste, American photographer, Erin McKinney (www.erinmckinney.net), will be presenting her workshop, Selfie vs. Self Portrait.

We will talk about self-expression, composition and lighting and then practice some techniques for taking our own self-portrait photographs.

GLOW stands for Girls Leading Our World, an initiative sponsored by American Corners across the globe. GLOW promotes self-advocacy, friendship, leadership, life skills and community through meaningful lessons/activities for adolescent girls in a fun, safe and respectful environment.  Most appointments are in English.

We have another active year planned with exceptional women guest speakers from around our city who are looking forward to meeting and sharing their passions with all of you- our super-duper GLOW teens!

Here are the dates for this year's monthly GLOW meetings at American Corner Trieste so you can mark your calendars:

Friday, November 9th - Photography

Friday, December 14th - Yoga

Please note that we have changed the times of our meetings to 17:30-19:00.
